A man "received a community resolution" after cannabis was found at a borough property.

Police received complaints "in relation to cannabis use" at an address in Whitefield with officers attending as part of a "joint-partner agency visit" with Onward Homes.

A "small quantity" of the class B drug was found and a man then "received a community resolution". 

The road of the address has not been published.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "Over the past few weeks, we have received several complaints in relation to cannabis use at an address in Whitefield.

"On Wednesday, February 21, the Whitefield neighbourhood policing team conducted a joint-partner agency visit to the address with Onward Homes.

"A small quantity of cannabis was discovered and as a result, an adult male has received a community resolution."

Police have also urged residents to contact them if they have any crime concerns.

The spokesperson added: "Whitefield residents, we urge you to continue (or start!) contacting us with any information relating to crime and anti-social behaviour in Whitefield via the below non-emergency options."
